Privacy Policy

Novara ("we", "us") is a free set of financial calculators. This page explains, in plain language, what data is and isn't involved when you use the site.
The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser. The figures you type are never sent to us and are never stored. We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't run analytics that identify you.
Information we do not collect
- The numbers you enter into any calculator. All math happens locally on your device using JavaScript; nothing you type is transmitted to a server we control or saved between visits.
- Names, email addresses, or payment details. There are no forms, logins, or checkouts on this site.
- Personal profiles or behavioural tracking for advertising that we operate ourselves.
Information handled automatically
Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) processes standard technical request data — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to deliver the site securely and defend against abuse. This is used for operational and security purposes and is not used by us to build a profile of you.
Live exchange rates
The currency converter makes a read-only request to a third-party exchange-rate service (the Frankfurter API, which republishes European Central Bank reference rates) to fetch current rates when the page loads. This request retrieves rate data only; the amounts you enter are converted locally and are not part of that request.
Advertising
Novara displays a single advertisement served by a third-party advertising network (such as A-ADS). To serve and measure ads, that network may set cookies or use similar technologies and may process technical data like your IP address and device information, in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the data practices of third-party ad networks. If you'd like to limit ad-related tracking, you can use your browser's privacy settings or a reputable content blocker.
Cookies
Novara sets no first-party tracking cookies. Any cookies you encounter would originate from the third-party ad network described above. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
